In celebration of Patrick Marleau’s remarkable 23-year career in the National Hockey League, City of San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan recognized former San Jose Sharks player Patrick Marleau at a special ceremony at the San Jose City Hall Rotunda on Thursday, February 23 at 1 p.m.
The ceremony included a proclamation by Mayor Mahan declaring Saturday, February 25 as Patrick Marleau Day in San Jose and there was a special flag raising ceremony and press conference. Patrick Marleau was accompanied by his wife Christina and sons Brody, Landen, Jagger and Celeb. San Jose Sharks President Jonathan Becher hosted the ceremony.
