Half way through the 2nd period, San Jose turned over the puck in the neutral zone during a clearing attempt. Zach Hyman got the puck in the right circle. He backskated to the bottom of the right circle and then just skated right in front of the net as none of the Sharks stepped up to challenge him. He backhanded a shot that bounced up off of the stick of Matt Benning into the net and put the Oilers ahead on a 3-1 lead.
