STORY: Security forces in India’s northern Shopian district gunned down a militant during an encounter on Friday (May 10).
The militant was identified as Ishfaq Ahmad and was killed in a gunfight after security forces launched a search operation based on specific information.
Arms and ammunitions were also recovered from the possession of the militant.
