STORY: Prince of Wales Charles Philip Arthur George, accompanied by the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles, met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday (November 11).
Prince Charles and Modi were expected to discuss a wide range of issues, including upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which will take place in April 2018 in the United Kingdom, and climate change.
The royal couple is on a two-day visit to India to boost bilateral ties. The visit is part of their 10-day four-nation tour to Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei and India.
Earlier, the royal couple had attended a programme at the British Council in the city to mark a year of cultural exchanges between the United Kingdom and India.
India-U.K. trade is at $12.19 billion. India is the third largest investor and the second largest international job creator in the U.K.
