STORY: Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg on Monday (January 07) said that she hoped to build better ties with India in areas of trade and investment, while addressing the India-Norway business Summit in New Delhi.
She added that Norway aspired to manufacture new strategies to strengthen bilateral relations and economic ties apart from research and technical cooperation with India.
“Private sector engagement, research and technical cooperation are key components. It focuses on oceans, energy and environment and on increased cooperation and contact between our countries at the political level,” said Solberg.
Norway and India are set to sign an agreement on Tuesday (January 08) to facilitate dialogue to boost bilateral trade, which currently stands at USD 1.2 billion.
