Fremont Sikh Community offers support to the Sonoma County fire victims

On October 18, 2017 members of Fremont Sikh community gathered together to help the victims of the fires in Petaluma in Sonoma County, and neighboring communities. Among the members were Fremont Human Relations Commissioner Tejinder Dhami, Sakoon Restaurant Owner Balkar Tamber, All City Trucking Owners Bhupinder Aulakh, Raj Randhawa, and Umarjit Sandhu. Also joining them were Fremont Councilmembers Raj Salwan and Rick Jones. The group assembled at Sakoon Restaurant and traveled to Petaluma. Upon arrival, they distributed 200 air mattresses and 150 thick blankets, snacks for kids, and a full buffet lunch was provided to all the victims.
