STORY: Former wrestler of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Dalip Singh Rana, popularly known as the ‘Great Khali’ on Monday (January 08) said wrestling has a great future in India.
On the sidelines of an event in New Delhi, the 44-year-old stressed that Indian players focus on short term goals and were not very keen or repeating their feat with better performances. He said that this could change once the players are provided with better training facilities.
Khali, who hails from northern Dhiraina town of Himachal Pradesh, worked with northern Punjab state police before becoming a professional wrestler. Khali was crowned the World Heavyweight Champion in 2007.
He has also made his appearance in some Hollywood and Bollywood films.
