STORY: Adrenaline junkies from across the globe were seen practicing on the muddy tracks at the Akota stadium in Indian Prime Minister Modi’s home state of Gujarat on Sunday (December 02), preparing for the main event this week.
The highlight of the championship will be freestyle motorcross riders from Australia, Jordan Sprague and Shaun Webb performing their widely renowned stunts on the tracks piquing the crowd’s interests even further. We heard that Vadodara crowd is very wild and loud, we are very excited to be here, said Sprague.
Apart from the usual riders, 16-year old rider, Tanishka Shan Baug, the only girl in tournament and a seven-year-old Viraj Rathod, the youngest rider will be part of the participants looking to leave a mark in the upcoming championship.
The MRF MoGrip FMSCI National Supercross Championship which is set to begin on Monday (December 03) will see around 150 riders from Madhya Pradesh, Goa Cochin Coimbatore and other parts of the country, participating in the Vadodara leg of the tournament.
