STORY: Australian cricket legend Shane Warne said the defending champions are peaking at the right time for the World Cup.
Speaking at an event for the upcoming Indian Premier League twenty20 tournament in New Delhi, Warne said, “I think they are peaking at the right time but I think India and England going in as favourites and they are going to be very tough to beat.”
The veteran cricketer also called former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni a must have for India. Warne went on to condemn Dhoni critics saying to they ‘have no idea what they are talking about’.
The World Cup will be played in a round-robin format with all 10 nations pitted against each other in the first round and the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.
