STORY: Bollywood stars Emraan Hashmi, Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherjee attended a multicultural art festival, ‘Kala Ghoda’ (black horse) Sunday (February11) in western Mumbai city.
The annual nine-day long festival takes place in the month of February every year and this year’s main attraction art piece was of ‘Green Ghoda’ (Green Horse) which gave a social message to the visitors regarding issues plaguing the environment.
Bollywood movies like ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai’ and ‘Company’ were screened as a part of the cinematic theme at the festival.
The festival boasts of being one of the largest multi-cultural festivals in the world. Incepted in 1999 it is one of the few festivals that is open to the public free of charge. It aims at preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the city.
